Blackberry Barcode Scanning - bKTSync Settings, Barcode Scanning to MemoPad

 
1) Launch the bKTSync program from the icon....

Lean how to set the barcode scanner's data line, symbologies and other settings in bKTSync. Then scan barcodes into the "viewer" to verify your settings. Scan data directly into MemoPad!

bKTSync contains powerful barcode formatting features. In this video (and the short instructions along the sides of the page) you'll learn how to specifiy what data to append to the scanned data, how to select specific barcode symbologies to scan, how to test your KDC200 / KDC300 settings, and how to run bKTSync in the background so you can scan barcodes into any program on your blackberry.

7) You can change which types of barcodes are allowed in the "Synbologies Settings" screen...

2) Connect the barcode scanner-"Bluetooth Connected" will be shown on KDC screen. 8) When you save the settings changes, you'll see the scanner update its firmware.

3) To changes suffix, prefix or scan data, select "Menu, Synchronization Settings" 9) Select the "background" menu option to scan barcodes into any other application....

4) Select options like record delimiter, attach KDC serial number or Date/Time 10) Now select the application you want to scan barcodes into... MemoPad in this case...

5) Save the settings by pressing the menu, "Save" 11) And Start Scanning!!! The scanned data shows up at the flashing cursor!

6) Scan barcodes into the viewer to confirm the settings are the way you want them....   12) It's the easiest way to scan barcodes into your application.
